This is a beautiful little cottage behind the main home located in Maisons Laffitte. The cottage is very well appointed, very clean, the shower even has hot water, a rarity in France! Outdoors there's a sweet patio for resting, reading or dining. The park of Maisons Laffitte is across the street making the walk into town serene and enjoyable with fabulous bakeries, epiceries, good restaurants, a grocery, and pharmacy close by. Wednesdays and Saturdays the market is open - again within an easy walk and a must if you want to experience the true French lifestyle. We stayed at Magnolia Cottage with our kids. The children slept on the sofa bed and we had the bedroom. The accommodation is situated in a beautiful and peaceful suburb of Paris. It was clean and well equipped. The local high street had restaurants, bars, shops and most importantly great patisseries. We stayed here as we wanted somewhere that was within easy access for exploring Paris for a few days and it did not disappoint. The train station was a short walk and then it was a direct train to the centre of Paris (17min). We had a really lovely stay. Fantastic communication from the start. We actually managed to leave something behind of our daughters and the host messaged really quickly and even text to make sure it wasn't left behind. Great location, walking distance of a great town, the metro and close enough to be able to drive to Paris and Disney. Everything we needed to cook a meal, house was in a private, quiet, secure area and car was able to be parked safely. We had a lovely stay at Magnolia Cottage. Arnaud was very responsive and helpful with suggestions. The location was perfect. The cottage was very tastefully decorated. We would not hesitate to stay again and recommend to others.
